Abstract

The research aims to study influence temperature and cooling time to surface refinement of printed products of polyethylene plastic ring. The method is heat treatment, injection and cooling, heat temperature 170°C — 250°C, injection time 13 — 50 seconds and cooling time 2 — 50 minutes. Experiment I consists of 5 samples and experiment II using 8 samples, and each samples is repeated 4 times. The result of the research is specimen no 1-15 on experiment I and experiment 11 the results of polyethylene ring surface is in good refinement. It means, the heating time and cooling time have a same positive influence with significance 0,05 to the surface refinement of printed product, or an increating in heating temperature and cooling time have a positive significance 0,05 to the surface refinement of printed product using teforma Printing Machine type RN-350. It is advised to continue this research in tern of the influence of surface refinement in plastic printing and using other plastic materials life polyethylene. Polypropylene, polyvinyl, styrene acrylonitric and acrylonitric butadine styrene.
