Abstract

Feeder is one of the main elements in radio transmission system which is lacateed between transmitter and antenna on the transmission side and connecting antenna and receiver on the receiving side. The feeder system always produce two possible systems i.e. match and mismatch. An efficient radio transmission system need match feeder will result in radiation inefficiency and than in the critical consition will make the transmitter broken. This must be prevented by making proper design of the feeder to become approximately match. The standing waves present on the mismatch system consist of resultant of reflextion signals which moving between generator and load repeatedly. Feeder circuit analysis can help in preventing or minimizing its influences by adding serial or parallel external component. This addition can be more simple by using open or short circuit configuration of feeder part. This configuration can produce virtual component and having similar function with additional actual component to the feeder.
