Abstract

Flood and dryness in a region watershed happened because of a climate phenomenon, that is rainfall distribution tends to happened in a brief with high intensity, or drought period happened longer than normal. Generally the cause of flood is the existence of input of rainfall and watershed system. Rainfall covers rain factor of stress intensity, duration rainfall duration and distribution of rain, while system watershed covers topography factor, soil type, and land use and system transfer of rain in watershed. Approximation of flooding debit which based on torrential rains can be classified in three ways that is, by the way of empiric formula, by the way of statistic or probability and by the way of unit hydrograph. Rainfall and discharge are important thing in getting hydrograph set of observation and theoretical. The Rainfall that applied is the effective precipitation which calculation is using index method. Whereas direct overflow ( direct run off) in earning by the way of segregation of total run off with base flow applies one of three method that is method Straight Line. Hydrograph ordinates set of observation is gotten by dividing direct overflow ordinate with effective rain. Synthetic unit hydrograph is an unit hydrograph that resulted from watershed characteristic, The modification of Snyder-Alexejev equation is approximated to observation unit hydrograph by reviewing the correlation coefficient and discrepancy ratio. The optimation will be done by determining Ct, Cp anf velue, for the opptoximetion of synthetic unit hydrograph and observation unit hydrograph. Some condition to determine Snyder-Alexejev unit hydrograph; optimation to Ct,Cp and n value is same for rising climb and recession climb; optimation to Ct,Cp and n value is different for rising climb and recession climb; optimation to Ct,Cp ,A and n value is same for rising climb and recession climb; ; optimation to Ct,Cp, and n value is same for rising climb and recession climb, but different for A value
