Abstract

Flexural test equipment is commonly found in laboratory. Hence, compressive stress machine or Universal Testing Machine (UTM) is being modified. So we can conduct the test on flexural test equipment. Reinforced concrete beam which will be tested is designed beam base on under reinforced condition. Beam sample is assumed as simple beam and the weight is on the beam axis. To be able to use compressive stress machine or UTM referring to the needs of model so that modification and setting up are implemented. After we do the test in under reinforced condition is show that concrete beam has failure after the steel bar yield.
