Abstract

Some ELT expert accept that technique which focuses on ‘pushed output’ has significant role in improving the speaking skill’s competence of learners. Students’ speaking skill will be optimally increased if they are assisted with an appropriate techniques that could develop their fluency. Yet these opportunities for enhancing students’ skill established. The development itself should cover the activities which include the message-focused activity, easy task, and performance at a high level. This type of activity could be implemented and prioritized by teachers in English lesson since the increase in fluency means a reduction of errors and an increase in grammatical complexity. Based on the consideration, this paper is focused on presenting how the 4/3/2 technique results an increase in students’ fluency regarding to their speaking skill.
